Diane is a lifelong Houstonian who attended Scarbrough Junior Senior High School. She graduated from the University of Houston in 1998 with a degree in finance and from there she completed her law degree at South Texas College of Law in 1991. After graduation, she immediately opened her own law firm and practiced criminal law, corporate law and other areas of law but quickly discovered a great desire to help families. Within a couple of years of practicing law, she devoted her entire practice to family law matters, including but not limited to, divorces, adoptions, child custody, child support, paternity, modification and enforcement actions. Diane also takes care of family probate issues, including drafting of wills and probating estates for love ones that have passed.

Although, Diane does her best to settle cases in a fair and amicable manner, if needed she aggressively and honestly represents her client's interest in trial before a judge or jury.

In December 1999, Diane became Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and was recertified in 2005 and again in 2010. Diane has represented thousands of men and women in their family law and probate matters.

On a personal note, Diane enjoys traveling as well as spending time with her three daughters and her husband. She enjoys running, going to the beach and snow skiing. Diane completed her first half-marathon in the Austin Half Marathon in 2008. Diane also loves to spend time with her numerous nephews and nieces sharing her passion for sports especially football. In the era of the Houston Oilers, Diane grew up going to every Oilers football game until Bud Adams moved the team. When the Texans came to town, Diane once again resumed her passion for football and now enjoys tailgating and going to the Houston Texans games. GO TEXANS!
